Integrating Hytix with Mailchimp

A detailed instructions on how to integrate Hytix with Mailchimp effortlessly.

Step 1: Accessing Hytix Integration Settings:

Log in to your Hytix account.
Navigate to the settings menu located in the top right corner.
Click on "Integration."

Step 2: Connecting Hytix with Mailchimp:

Within the Integration settings, locate and select the "Connect with Mailchimp" button.
You will be asked to enter the API key from your Mailchimp account.
Log in to your Mailchimp account and navigate to the "API Keys" section.
Click on "Create A Key".
Provide a descriptive name for the API key.
Copy the generated key and store it securely.

Step 3: Integration with Hytix:

Return to the Hytix Admin Mailchimp Integration page.
Paste the Mailchimp API key into the designated field.
Confirm the integration by clicking on the "Connect with Mailchimp" button to link your Hytix. account with Mailchimp.

Step 4: Selecting Events for Contact Sync:

Choose the past events for which you want to sync contacts with your Mailchimp account.
Optionally, select to sync contacts for all future events.

Step 5: Selecting Mailchimp Audience List:

Choose the Mailchimp audience list from the dropdown, where contacts will be synced.
Create a new audience list in Mailchimp if needed.

Step 6: Initiating Contact Sync:

Once event selection and audience list are finalized, click on the "Sync Contact" button.
A confirmation message will appear indicating the successful submission of the contact sync request.

Important Note:

-Hytix automatically syncs contacts to Mailchimp daily at 03:00 AM CST.

-Check your Mailchimp subscription plan for limitations on creating new audience lists or syncing contacts to avoid exceeding limits.

By following these simple steps, you can seamlessly integrate Hytix with Mailchimp, enabling efficient synchronization of event contacts and empowering you to leverage Mailchimp's powerful email marketing capabilities for audience engagement and event promotion.
